Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 April 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website accsible.com, the Accsible dashboard, the Accsible accessibility widget, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Accsible (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- “Customer” — any individual or entity that creates an account on the Accsible platform.
- “End User” — any visitor who interacts with the Accsible widget on a Customer’s website.
- “Widget” — the browser-based accessibility toolbar delivered via our CDN script tag.

- “Plan” — the subscription tier selected by the Customer (e.g., Starter, Professional, Enterprise, Partner).
2. Description of the Service
Accsible offers a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps websites improve accessibility. The Service includes:
- An accessibility widget with 39 end-user tools across four categories: text, navigation, focus, and appearance.
- Integration via a single
<script>tag loaded asynchronously from our global CDN (cdn.accsible.com). - A management dashboard for widget configuration, accessibility score monitoring, and compliance reporting.
- Widget interface available in 40+ languages with full RTL support.
- Compatibility with all major CMS platforms, e-commerce solutions, and JavaScript frameworks.
3. Account Registration & Security
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to create an account. If you register on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3.2 Account Information
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date. You may register using an email address and password or through Google OAuth.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must immediately notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you have failed to safeguard your credentials.
3.4 One Account Per Entity
Each Customer account is intended for use by a single individual or organization. Account sharing or reselling access is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by your Plan.
4. Plans, Fees & Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
The Service is offered through various subscription plans with different feature sets, usage limits, and pricing. Plan details, including monthly page view quotas and the number of active widgets permitted, are described on our pricing page and at checkout.
4.2 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period (typically 14 days). During the trial, you have access to the features specified for the trial plan. At the end of the trial, your account will be downgraded unless you subscribe to a paid Plan. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.
4.3 Billing & Payment
All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid Plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as selected). Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4.4 Upgrades & Downgrades
You may upgrade or downgrade your Plan at any time through the Dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
4.5 Refund Policy
Fees are non-refundable after any statutory cooling-off period that may apply in your jurisdiction (e.g., 14 days for EU/UK consumers from the date of purchase). Refund requests within the cooling-off period should be directed to [email protected].
4.6 Late Payment & Suspension
If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment remains outstanding for more than 14 days, we reserve the right to suspend your account and deactivate your widgets until the balance is settled.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the Widget or any part of the Service, except as permitted by applicable law.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems or networks without prior written authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Access or attempt to access another Customer’s account or data without authorization.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or branding within the Widget (unless your Plan explicitly permits white-labeling).
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without a Partner agreement.
- Exceed the usage limits of your Plan (including page view quotas) through artificial means.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond what is provided through our APIs.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
6. Accessibility Compliance Disclaimer
Accsible is a tool designed to reduce common accessibility barriers and support WCAG 2.2-aligned practices. It is not a guarantee of legal compliance.
Accessibility outcomes depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to:
- The underlying content and structure of your website
- Your website’s design, layout, and custom code
- The specific accessibility standards and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction (e.g., WCAG 2.2, EAA, ADA, Section 508, EN 301 549, AODA)
- How end users interact with and configure the Widget
We strongly recommend that Customers conduct professional accessibility audits and seek qualified legal counsel to evaluate compliance obligations specific to their jurisdiction, industry, and audience. The Accsible widget is one component of a comprehensive accessibility strategy — not a complete solution in isolation.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Rights
The Service, including all software, code, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Accsible or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service except for the limited license described below.
7.2 Limited License
Subject to these Terms and your active subscription, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes. This license includes the right to embed the Widget on your websites as permitted by your Plan.
7.3 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content, data, or materials you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and display it solely to provide and improve the Service.
7.4 Feedback
If you provide suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback about the Service, we may use it without obligation or compensation to you.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
If you are a Customer who integrates the Widget on a website that collects personal data from End Users, you are responsible for:
- Informing End Users about the use of the Accsible widget in your own privacy policy.
- Obtaining any consents required under applicable data protection laws.
- Ensuring your use of the Service complies with GDPR, UK GDPR, and any other applicable data protection regulations.
9. Service Availability & Modifications

9.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. For material changes that negatively affect your use of the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice (at least 30 days for paid customers). If a change is unacceptable to you, your remedy is to cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
10. Term & Termination
10.1 Term
These Terms are effective from the date you first access or use the Service and remain in effect until terminated.
10.2 Termination by You
You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through the Dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
10.3 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
- Breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
- Fail to pay outstanding fees after notice
- Engage in activity that threatens the security or integrity of the Service
10.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your widgets will be deactivated and will no longer load on your websites. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Exclusion of Indirect Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Accsible shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with the Service, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11.2 Cap on Liability
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you are on a free plan or trial, our total liability shall not exceed fifty (50) GBP.
11.3 Exceptions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Accsible, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
13.3 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any order-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Accsible regarding the Service. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
14.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
14.5 Force Majeure
